Situated between three glaciers, the valleys of Þórsmörk and Góðaland have been cut by glacier recessions, sub-glacial floodings and thousands of springs. Here, the convergence point between the rivers of Góðaland (front) and Þórsmörk (back), making their way to the ocean in the distance.
