The Tolmin Gorges are situated near the town of Tolmin (Zatolmin to be precise). They are a wonderful place, where the air is fresh and the temperature much easier to bear in the hellish summer weather. The gorges have been created in thousands of years by the pristine waters of the Tolminka rivers. The cave that inspired Dante's inferno is on the top of the gorges.
