Bled, in west Slovenia, is a popular vacation spot in tourism on the shores of a lake. Its location (close to Italy, Austria, and the capital city of Slovenia) as well as its picturesque landscapes has made it the most popular tourist destination in Slovenia. The small island on the lake is the only island in Slovenia. The monastery, built in the 17th century, is still hosting wedding ceremonies or events.
